The BoB MKII is a highly flexible Break-out Box which is used to simplify and to reduce the time required to make Interface Adapters (IA) for use with Intermittent Fault Detection (IFD) test equipment, such as the Ncompass™ Analyzer, as supplied by Copernicus Technology Ltd. For the purposes of this User Manual, reference to the Ncompass™ can be interpreted as applying equally to all Ncompass and IFD test equipment as supplied by CTL. IAs are constructed to enable the Analyzer to be connected to the component or system to be tested – ie the Unit Under Test (UUT).
BoB MKII can be used for the following range of functions:
ØRapid identification and testing of each individual wire within a 50-core cable assembly, by means of audio and visual indications.
ØConnecting the Ncompass™ to a UUT for immediate, ad hoc testing purposes.
ØProviding an interface to connect 3rd party test equipment to individual Test Points on the UUT via the Ncompass™ IA.
ØProviding an interface to connect 3rd party test equipment to the Ncompass™ to enable pre-use checks and calibration to be carried out.
The product is intended for use by suitably skilled and qualified technician staff.
