Interface Test Adapter

The creation of an appropriate connecting interface, or Interface Test Adapter (ITA), between the IFD™ TE and the UUT is an essential part of the overall testing system.  Therefore, it is vital that the ITA's design and the manufacture of the ITA is to the highest quality to allow optimum testing to be carried out by the IFD™ TE.

This topic describes the necessary steps to ensure that the design and manufacture of the interface is as easy and effective as possible for the User.

 

Poor quality connectors, materials and construction are likely to introduce faults that may detract the User from actual faults exhibited on the UUT.
