Desiccant Pack

A Dry-Pack Aluminium Dehumidifier Canister is provided to assist in preventing condensation and mildew during storage.

 

Using orange indicating silica gel it's built-in indicator will turn the indicating beads from Orange to Dark Green when the Silica Gel is approximately 60% absorbed with moisture, signalling a need for reactivation.

 

It can be reactivated by placing in an oven at a temperature of 150°C (300°F) for approximately 3 hours.

 

 

The canister does not contain blue cobalt Chloride II, which has been linked as possibly carcinogenic.  The Hydrosorbent Silica Gel Dessicant Dehumidifier is non-toxic and safe to use.
