Virginia Panel
The standard ITA solution for the IDFIS™ is the Virginia Panel G10 Receiver Assembly. The G10 solution provides great reliability while simultaneously engaging up to 1,280 test points and optional control lines. The contacts are incorporated into an ITA cable assembly for testing specific UUT.
Each 7U Pod contains one Virginia Panel (VP) G10 Receiver.  Each Receiver houses 3, VP Connector Blocks (A-B-C), when looking at the receiver blocks head-on, separated by two blank cover-spacers installed between each block.  Each Connector Block has 10 columns and 48 rows of test-point-pins for a total of 480 pins per block as shown in the following VP-Block-A graphic.  Looking at the G10 Receiver head-on from the front; the 10-columns per block are marked A-K (the letter 'I' is not used) and this pin-out pattern repeats into the adjacent Block.  Every 6th column in the sequence across all 3-blocks contain optional control lines; for pin-out details see the Virginia Panel Pin-Out.

Details of parts and construction can be sourced from your Distributor.
50-Way D-sub
The ITA requires to be connected to the VIFD™ via a 50-pin D-sub connector (male).  These connectors can be purchase as shells and then each individual cable soldered into the buckets as required, before being protected with a metal or plastic shield, as shown below.

For some ITAs the cable needed to interface the UUT connectors may need to be a specific cable type and gauge, and so this is a very flexible solution for housing different cable types.
For details on pin-outs see J-Connector Pin-Out.
