This topic covers all IFD™ Testing and the immediate Results obtained from each specific test. To carry out IFD™ Testing, login to NODES™ and from the NODES™ Options or UUT Add/Edit select Tests.
From the Tests form, the User can select the UUT to test and the specific test to perform. NODES™ will then carry out a number of checks before performing any testing, including:
Ø A check of the UUT and then validate the Test Point Data, see Validation Rules.
Ø A check of the resolution of any computer/display screens connected to ensure that all displays are optimised for the User in relation to the system being operated.
Ø If left over from a previous test, it will prompt the User to save test data.
Once the test has been selected, and the above checks performed successfully, control is passed to Tests functions.
