Validation Rules

For successful or partially successful completion of importing of a csv, a number of validation rules have to be observed.  Some rules applied across all test types, but other are either ignored or their output is downgraded.  The lowest validation test type is for AutoMap™, where the minimum criteria is applied during the import phase; this assumes that an AutoMap™ will be conducted using the imported Map file before any other testing is carried out.  Intermittent testing has the highest import validation criteria.  The import provides a Validation Report to help guide the User to creating a perfect csv.  The Validation Rules are as follows:
