Help Files for the NODES™ application and all related testing functions are provided in CHM and PDF formats. The CHM format is activated using the {F1} button from within NODES™ and it is topic sensitive. Both formats can be viewed externally to the NODES™ application and they can be freely distributed without individual licensing agreements; Copyright restriction still apply.
The Auto Select button allows the User to force NODES™ to go and find the latest Help File (designated by the version number) which should be stored in the \NODES folder. The Help File name needs to be prefixed with NN_UserManual_ to be recognised by the automatic process.
The Manual Select button allows the User to go look for the Help File. The file name still has to be prefixed with NN_UserManual_. Once selected, the Help File will be copied to the \NODES folder.
Certain reports have headers and footers that can be customised by the User. This text can be entered to provide reference to specific processes/procedure documents that might be within the company's Business Operation Manuals or Quality Manual documentation.
If changes are made to the details held in this view, then the Save Preferences button will turn red; thus prompting the User to save the new information.
