Software

All versions of software, drivers, dlls and service packs can be obtained from your Authorised Distributor.  Do not load the latest versions from the OEM's website on to the system without first consulting your Authorised Distributor as they may not be supported by the NODES™ software.

Additional Information

Optional sourced peripheral equipment, such as SSTDR, Tracker or other controlled equipment, may have additional requirements.  Please contact Copernicus Technology Ltd to ensure that these 3rd party software packages have been tested for compatibility with the NODES™ prior to use.

Certain functions of the NODES™ test systems require maximum CPU availability from the CC whatever the variant. or OS, therefore it is highly recommended:

  • Do not use the controlling computer with any other non-authorised, non-tested devices.
  • Do not install or run other non-authorised programs or install other Device Drivers.
  • Do not attach the controlling computer to a network (wired or wireless) or to the Internet.
  • Do not change or modify any of the directory paths, computer names, device-drivers, etc.
  • The only non-pre-configured devices considered safe to use on the IFD™ TE controlling computer are removable storage devices (such as flash drives) and Parallel / USB printers.  When installing printers, it is recommended that only printer drivers are installed and NOT the printing software that is often supplied with printing devices.
  • In general, keep the OS, programs, drivers and peripherals as ‘clean’ as possible.  This will prevent other programs from using CPU time, enables quicker boot-up times and ensures that the IFD™ testing performance is not compromised.

If any other device, device driver, or software program is installed and subsequently causes the NODES™ to malfunction, then the Warranty shall be considered voided and all repair/replacement and shipping costs will be the responsibility of the User.

Printer Configuration

TODO CutePDF is configured as the default printer because all documents are formatted to print in PDF format.  To print test results and UUT graphics using another printer, then select the required printer on print only because changing the default printer may cause the configured documents to change their overall format.
