The BoB MKII is an electrical tester in which the 50-pin D-sub compound electrical connector can be separated out into 50 identifiable, discrete component connectors. By coupling the ‘under construction’ Interface Adapter (IA) cable to the BoB MKII’s 50-pin D-sub female connector, it is possible to identify and continuity check the interface cable wires faster, more efficiently and with greater accuracy. It can also be used as an interface to enable testing of the completed IA cable assemblies for continuity and short-circuit faults, using 3rd party test equipment such as multi-meters.
