Detachable Power Cord

  • VAC detachable power cord is rated at 240V 10Amp with a F3A250V fuse in the mains plug where applicable.  No modifications, repairs or replacement of the cord are to be carried out that would adversely effect the safety or lower the rating, thus making the cord inadequate for safe operation.

  • VDC detachable power cord is rated at 100V 25Amp.  No modifications, repairs or replacement of the cord are to be carried out that would adversely effect the safety or lower the rating, thus making the cord inadequate for safe operation.

The IFD™ TE, the CC, and any peripheral equipment should be connected where possible to the mains supply by means of an approved surge suppression device to prevent electronic damage and surge protection.  Do not connect or disconnect the IFD™ TE without undertaking the correct Powering Down sequence.

Any electrical installation, repair or maintenance activity on the any of the IFD™ TE must be carried out by an appropriately qualified Electrician.
If you are unsure, or experience an issue with the IFD™ TE of an electrical nature, please contact your Authorised Distributor for advice.

Parts of the IFD™ TE contains miniature ‘button’ batteries as part of the motherboard and some interface cards and in some cases it may contain a larger rechargeable battery pack if in laptop format and the Copernicus Technology Ltd Break-out-Box contains a 9V Alkaline battery.
These batteries contain heavy metals and must be recycled/disposed of correctly and NOT disposed of along with normal household waste.
If additional information on disposal is required, please check with your local authority for full guidelines.
