Intermittence Testing

The Intermittence Fault Detection Testing Application (IFDTA) has taken the place of the traditional Legacy Intermittence application.  IFDTA offers a number of additional features over its predecessor (which may still be available on some of the legacy systems).
These features include:

Ø     Multiple views of detected & isolated events: Test Times, Total Events, Summary of Events and a number of Event Views:
  • Grid View - a List of each Event in sequence showing specific data for each event detected
  • Tree View - a graphical representation of events based on nested rectangle grouped on Node that are in proportion to amount of events detected
  • Big View - a large output showing the last event
  • Column View - a 3D graphical view with each column representing a Test Point, with the column height a representation based on the number of events detected
Ø     Map Viewer - shows the map, nodal configuration and how the test point are connected
Ø     GXY Viewer - shows the UUT graphic and the events overlaid on the graphic
Ø     COM Port Monitor - a GUI to control the COM Port connection, data received and transmitted
Ø     Test Point Data Display - a GUI which allows the use to select anywhere on any view to select a test point in order to reveal Test Point Data and control
Ø     Instrumentation Output Control - a GUI to control the Instrumentation Output and associated measurement buses
